NATI Catalytic Converter Mat

NT-100 series product is a basic type of high performance intumescent mat which mainly used in automotive catalytic converter support mount system.NT-100 has been considered about both the price and performance during its product development. NT-100 is a good intumescent mat with low cost and stable performance.

NT- 200 series product is an excellent non-intumescent mat that can be applied in most automotive catalytic converter support mounting system. NT- 200 series product can provide mechanical support, sealing, protection, thermal and sound insulation or other functions for the catalytic converter, also it could be applied in end cone insulation and other extreme conditions of senior thermal insulation.

Compared with the traditional intumescent mats,NT-300  series product can provide reliable support for the catalytic converter whether it applied in high or low temperature . Erosion resistance of NT-300 is better than traditional intumescent mats. NT-300 shows better performance in canning applications and thermal field.

NT-500 series product is a kind of intumescent mat that the expansion vermiculite only plays a minor role. The fiber can provide reliable support for the catalytic converter when it applied in low temperature. When the temperature rises(>400℃) ,NT-500 can provide sufficient supporting for the catalytic converter by the extra expanding of auxiliary vermiculite.

NT-100 is made of high performance ceramic fiber and bonded by organic binder. Excellent flexibility, bended nearly 180 degrees without crack. Erosion resistance of NT-100 is excellent.
In canning applications,the fiber excellent honeycomb structure provides reliable support for the catalytic
converter at low temperature. When the temperature is above 330℃, vermiculite expands and the thickness of the mat increases gradually, that provides a balanced, sustained and sufficient support to catalytic converter.

*Support: Prevent substrate from shock and vibration;            

*Seal: To prevent gas leak from encapsulating gap;
*Insulation: Prevent overheating shell, ensure the catalyst temperature;

*Good erosion resistance;
In addition to application for automotive catalytic converter support mount system, NT-100 can be applied to a variety of industrial insulation ,including high temperature expansion ,fire prevention and other fields.

NT- 200 is made of polycrystalline wool(PCW*). By using this type of ceramic fiber, NT- 200 can maintain strong structure and excellent durability at high temperature(lower than 1250℃), also will improve erosion resistance, there is no need to add extra edge protecting material or measures. The PCW fiber is an non-hydrophilic material and it will not be affected by oil, water or urea in real applications.
Due to the excellent bending performance of NT-200 , NT-200 is easy to wrap or shape. NT-200 is easy for canning, no matter stuff mounting , tourniquet mounting or other mounting methods. NT-200 can be applied in different catalytic converters that including the exhaust system of gasoline, diesel(SCR/DPF/DOC/ASC) and natural gas applications.
The classification of PCW fiber belongs to environmental friendly material, therefore NT- 200 can be used in Europe, the United States, Japan and other markets around the world.
